Why I coach the way I do
I hated every gym I rehabbed in.
I grew up in Toowoomba and played state-level netball until a knee reconstruction at 24. Two years of rehab in gyms full of mirrors and shouting taught me exactly what I didn't want. I became a coach in 2016 to be the trainer I'd wanted, worked at two big gyms, and went out on my own in 2020.
Most of my clients are beginners and over-40s. I'm 38. My staffy Biscuit comes to the park sessions and has opinions about kettlebells.

A session with me: we warm up while you tell me about your week, we lift something, I correct one thing at a time, and we finish before you hate it.
