Tessa coaching a small group by the Brisbane River at sunrise
West End · Brisbane

Strength coaching for people who hate gyms.

Beginners and over-40s. No shouting, no contracts, no mirrors. Just a park at sunrise, a small studio, and a coach who'll tell you honestly if she's the right fit.

Is this you?

Most of my clients started exactly here.

You've never lifted anything

And every gym you've walked into made you feel like you should have. We start with a kettlebell and a conversation.

You used to, and stopped

Netball at twenty, a desk at forty. Your body remembers more than you think.

You want to get up off the floor

Without a hand. Carry the shopping. Lift the grandkids. That's strength, and it's trainable at any age.

What changed

No before-and-afters. These are people, not projects.

“I thought strength training was for other people. Turns out it's for people who want to carry their own suitcase at 70.”

Dev, 64, one-to-one on Tuesdays, has never missed one.

About Tessa

I was the person who hated gyms.

State-level netball until a knee reconstruction at 24, then two years rehabbing in gyms I couldn't stand. I became a coach in 2016 to be the trainer I'd wanted. Most of my clients are beginners and over-40s, and my dog Biscuit comes to the park sessions.
